This is my third work exploring the possibilities of independent control of the tempi of live performers using a computer. The work for the unusual instrumentation of clarinet, baroque violin and theorbo features a counterpoint of tempi in each player performs the same musical material. The independent changes in tempo together with changes in register make up the entire fabric of the composition. These divergences create a synchronized, but complex web of polyphony, suggesting the title that means “twittering” in English.
