about

Cyphers of the Obscure Gods was inspired by two works by Surrealist Painter Max Ernst:The World of the Naïve and The Obscure Gods. The paintings explore the idea of a continously encoded universe full of signs and messages. They are richly coloured energetic and quirky: features that I have tried to reflect in the music.

First Performed: Magnetic Pig James Street Night Club, Perth October 1992
